As someone who was there in 1967 and 1984 I am so very proud of the young. In a world that has become so corrupt and twisted they give me hope. Don’t ever stop believing that you can change the world, you can and will ❤️

My dad is a Vietnam Vet from New Zealand, he had no idea what was in store for him when he left his little rural town right out in the wop wops, he just wanted to see the world & escape working in the freezing works like most of his siblings, he said Vietnam was beautiful & so were the people, he felt for the villagers & they gave them food & medical supplies, he shared good memories of them with me, also some sad ones. That war was savage & should never have happened. He was an alcoholic with what now I know as PTSD, he also suffered severely from Agent Orange till the day he died … He was treated like crap by our government who sent him there, but treated like a VIP at the local bakery run by lovely Vietnamese people who came here after the war, got chattting with dad about him serving, they’d always give us extra donuts and would say to my dad every time we’d leave “Kiwi good” 💜…. I detest war, I can’t understand how anyone could look at children as casualties… my heart is with Palestine, all the mums & dads who risk everything for their children, all the kids who aren’t getting told off for not having a shower, eating dinner or doing their homework… But instead hiding, hungry & fearing for their lives….
