When it comes to country music I like the good stuff; I'm old school. Even though Willie's Roadhouse specializes in traditional country music, even THEY don't play a lot of songs that I heard on the radio 📻 in years; ie Heartbeat iIn The Darkness (Don Williams), How To Be A Country Star (Statler Brothers), etc

There are some incredible new artists worth listening to. I'm not a fan of any of the junk thats on the radio. It's pop music clear as day to me. Here's some new artists doing justice to the genre and worth diving into: Charley Crockett Sierra Ferrell Vincent Neil Emerson Nick Shoulders Wayne Hancock Benjamin Todd Hank 3

Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson and Zach Top are new artists that remind me of older artists. They are worth checking out

Country music needs fidels, steel guitars, and country licks, not just a southern accent with an accoustic guitar.

Anything after the Dixie Chick's was horrible. Start with Hank Williams Sr to the Dixie Chick's was good.
