Sumeru took the weaknesses of the past Regions and turned it one of Sumeru's strengths. The fact different things in the environment react differently depending on what element you used makes it feel more real, alive. Instead of just, Anemo is used in Mondstadt, Geo in Liyue, Electro in Inazuma, Different things in Sumeru can react in several ways which makes it more enjoyable. The monsters (particularly Fungi) dropping items based on if they've been hit by a specific Element, or if they're not hit by said elements also adds a lot of potential. The Terrorshroom (one of the new Bosses) changing based on what element you use is also a fantastic idea, it encourages you to change up your team to avoid taking many death blows. The Withering is fun too, it genuinely is such a fantastic challenge, and instead of the Decay Bar working like Dragonspines ice bar, constantly increasing, it does it similarly to the bar for the Chasm Gadget (In Segments), increasing over time, but also being hit by certain things. I like it doesn't weaken your offensive capabilities, only defense. Meaning you can take the risk to just power through, but one mistake may lead to a swift death.

the patch was so great, it make feel like playing genshin for 1st time again. ive been playing since launch, the nostalgia of playing mc and lisa while having tons of content that weren't as difficult and unrewarding as GAA is the best thing ever in this patch.

Sumeru's archon quest is my favourite so far ! I may be biased for preferring the nation itself over Monds and Liyue since it's new and the quest is my fav so far, but I definitely like it more than Inazuma ! Inazuma's music just felt so unwelcoming and depressing to me lol I became used to it at some point but it never made the nation as good as the others in my heart, even though happy go lucky musics wouldn't fit Inazuma lol I also love the fantastic side of Sumeru. I never thought I'd be a sucker for this, but I am haha

I agree! the place is much more enjoyable than Inazuma and I genuinely enjoyed the puzzles when I didn't in Inazuma

Inazuma was a literal nightmare to explore and unlock, except for Watatsumi and maybe the main island. Exploring Sumeru is like Liyue (which is a good thing) but with much green.

inazuma just felt so cold, probably to match the fact that it was closed off from the world but it was also unnecessarily difficult and uninteresting😭it was kind of just un-fun puzzles, annoying seelie, and boring enemies its such a nice change to see brightness, greenery, and beautiful musi

Started exploring. Is AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL. LIKE. FR. But. I dont have time anymore, Genshin requires time investment and as a person who is studying/suffering i cant even find the Right time to open the game and start the quests.

Inazuma wasn't bad. It was just cooked with the wrong ingredients.

It's my least favorite region. But it has a good archon storyline. I don't like the region as it's just a bit bland to me. I still just explore mondstadt and liyue most of the time.
