As a younger witch, my full moon rituals were MUCH more exciting than they are now. This picture reminded me of them back in the days when being 'sky clad' was something I actually did (as opposed to now when I just sit huddled close to the fire). Tonight's rituals are going to involve something much simpler, with people being here for supper, a couple of glasses of red wine and the ritual making of this month's moon water. I use moon water especially at this time of year to sprinkle around me home for moon blessings and safety.

How wonderful to have gone sky clad.. I wish I did in my youth... if I did it now I think everyone would run away.... 🤔 now there's a thought..

GRRRRLLLLL! I was 12 when I bought my first witchy book (1974!) and it had the word "sky-clad" in it and when I found out that it meant NAKED, my crazy brain REEEEEELED with the SINFUL DELICIOUSNESS of it all. I lived in the city and was trying like HELL to figure out where I could go outside and be naked without being seen because I didn't care about safety, I just cared that I'd be laughed at and then grounded. Alas, at 60, I've been naked outside a LOT but still, never for a ritual. #goals 😆

I am planning a mesh hooded robe to be able to be as sky-clad as possible 😉 but this time of year there's too much snow here... ❄

Well it was a bit nippy for sky clad last night at -2°c , but still good with clothes on staring at the moon and the glittery moonlighting the frost.
