Recently, I’ve been going through a stage of just going through Mic preamps I was running a universal audio 710 then I switched to the grace m 101 both which I still have, but I think I found my Grail of mic preamps I’ve always been looking for a clean mic preamp that adds a touch of color and I found it it’s the Lakeside by Soyuz And it’s phenomenal. My question is what are your favorite preamps and why and also why did everyone move away from the Avalon 733 when there was nothing wrong with it and a lot of hits were made off of it. Thanks.
