I'm one of those in between Millennials and Gen-Z people. While obviously there are Gen-Zers who are perfectly normal, lovely people, I have seen more Gen-Zs lead the charge on the new sort of purity culture (arguing sex shouldn't be in TV or film, outrages in fandom over villains or depicting hard topics in a more complicated manner) which I think in turn brings that sort of infantilized view on the generation as a whole. That mixed with people not understanding many Gen Zs are actual adults and not still children, but I think that sort of thing happens to every generation.

Every older generation does it to the younger generations. And it’ll always be like that and never change lol

As a Gen Z, but almost millennial (I guess, idk I was born late 2000), it’s HARD out here. Being the first of the ipad kids but navigating young adulthood. Especially because for a lot of us COVID happened during our high school or middle school years.

Millennial here.. the Gen Z-ers I know seem to be responsible people. The cultural differences may rub older folks the wrong way, but I don't see any reason that Gen Z should be infantilized.

No. We’re trying to survive with the tools we’re given and learning to create tools ourselves.
