I was the first of the two men. I noticed that if I focus my weakness through the trying and failing will become my strength. So I’m working on becoming the later you described. Have come along way, got a way to go. Thanks again!

That was a good read, there are couple of real good gems in there so to speak. Thank you for sharing it. I do have a question about this part, "The Spartans believed that what warranted punishment wasn't failing in combat drills, but refusing to maintain shields, polish weapons, or clean the barracks." Where did you read or find that out?

99% won’t read this- and that fact will prove my point precisely why success eludes so many! 😬 🤷♂️
After 25 years of grind, hustle, success and failures at the highest level here is what success really looks like.
It’s not about strength. We are all weak at first - strength will come.
The Spartans believed that what warranted punishment wasn’t failing in combat drills, but refusing to maintain shields, polish weapons, or clean the barracks.
Boring duties revealed more about character than contests of strength.
What does that have to do with success today?
The enemy isn’t fatigue or fear, but self neglect. A man who cant perform routine tasks will later abandon greater responsibilities.
Discipline is built in monotony, NOT in adrenaline.
Why success is so elusive:
It’s like a giant hidden test: . The path to success is hidden in years of dull, repetitive tasks.
The key isn’t about a perfect body or spotless room — it’s about proving loyalty to yourself.
A man who can handle tedious without complaint can be trusted in chaos.
There are Two types of men.
One thrives only on excitement — chasing gyms, battles, and “big moments.” They collapse when faced with the grind.
The other endures small, invisible duties every day, and becomes unshakable in crises. One builds image. The other builds backbone.
Today men obsess over peak performance, but avoid the “boring” rituals: budgeting, daily reading, consistent training, showing up on time.
Greatness isn’t forged in the arena. It’s forged in whether you can keep promises to yourself and commit to the smallest tasks.
What kind of man are you?
