I truly believe this. My mom lived to 93, died of old age, no disease, clear mind and she was the most kind wonderful person to everyone, especially her family of 9 kids. Her last words to us were, always take care of each other and treat everyone with kindness & put God first.

I think that goes both ways. As a single woman who lives remotely in the wilderness., I have great relationships with things other than people. Dogs plants, nature as a whole. So many women stay in unsatisfying relationships I think that’s far worse than having none.

It is indeed. And the most steadfast unchanging love is only from God. Never expect perfect relationship with human-being but ready to forgive their imperfections like God have forgiven us. Staying a closed relationship with God is the key to a joyful life 😊

As someone who grew up abused, solitude is not only peaceful, it is safety. I enjoy my own company, and have had my greatest adventures, accomplishments, in solitude.... yet, as a musician, I love live music performance... which gets me out socially.

I think there is something to this . However I don’t know about everyone here , but I don’t really have any good people in my life . Humans have disappointed me so much that I moved deep into the country and I live in isolation. My 4 grown kids have their own lives . Don’t get me wrong , I’m not complaining. I am very happy . I could have a partner if I wanted one , but I don’t . I love my freedom and independence.

The hard part is finding just a normal, simple and sane relationship. In modern society and more so in the west, picking up unpleasant attachment also can get life near to unfortunate demise caused by stress.

That's why people in poor countries are (much) happier than people in the USA or Europe. Money and wealth are not happiness.

FYI - it doesn't have to be a live-in relationship where you are an emotional prop, cook, cleaner, and mistress for the other person. There are plenty of ways to create bonds with people . Just don't form intimate relationships with them. It's not necessary. Women of a ceratin age prefer the peace of living solo .Ask them!

Not everyone needs a relationship to feel fulfilled. I live alone, close to the mountains, spending my days tending to my garden, playing with my dogs, and listening to the birds sing. Sometimes, being connected to nature brings more peace than being in a half-hearted relationship. Being alone isn’t as scary as being with someone and still feeling lonely.

I have been treated like crap by humans for my entire life starting in childhood. I am so much happier and I can actually breathe and relax when I'm alone.
