Two black families. One killed by a cop. And this guy. One family, after seeing the evidence accepted reality and moved on. Everyone respects and appreciates that family and has sympathy for their loss. This family. No one gives a 💩 Because everyone is tired of the grift

I believe the truth is already known, and they know that. Just more milking from them.

The truth is already known. Suicide is up heavily in America, especially for young Men.

They probably already have the truth, they just don’t care. Like the shooting of a black man who pistol whipped an off duty cop. Black people lied and said they witnessed the event and that the black man did not pistol whip the man. Then the camera footage shows they were lying. Some people don’t care about the truth, they just their side to look like it’s winning or to look like they’re the victims.

They're milking this young man's death just hoping for a race war when there is none. Rip young man.

You know what would have been better than a protest? A vigil. Honor who the young man was and start a serious conversation about mental health care especially for young men to prevent another awful loss like this. Idk, I can't even blame the family too much for this. Grief shows up in the strangest ways.

I think it's because most people know it was a suicide and the family's refusal to accept it as anything but is just a form of grief. Like obviously it sucks to lose their family member that way and we feel for them, but we're not going to get roped in to believing it's something it's not either.

They dont care about the truth or trey. They just wanted to use this poor mans suicide to grift and spread racism. We all know he committed suicide which is supported by the BLACK sheriff and BLACK coroner. They still wont listen to facts.

I feel like the whole 2nd autopsy thing is a publicity stunt by kaepernick

It’s honestly so disrespectful to do these things for a man that unfortunately killed himself. Nothing about helping other men deal with these sorts of things just like Trey had too without any support it seems like. Just gonna make it about us and self promote, it’s just sad.

Exactly what I expected. They claim to have ordered a second autopsy and claim that that autopsy found for drama or something like that. But of course they won’t release the results. If they were being honest about it, then they would release the results to prove what they’re saying. But they won’t. And there’s a reason for that. An obvious one.

It all started with emmitt till, when certain parts of the community learnt that stories = power

The truth won't fill bank accounts or start riots. The activists will move on when they think they've found a better target, and they'll leave a family behind believing lies.

Unfortunately with suicide, it’s hard for families to accept. I’ve known people that have died this way. It was obvious that’s how they died, but there were still family members of theirs that refused to accept it. I’ve also seen where the families do accept how it happened, but want to blame someone, like an ex, the other parent, their employers, etc. Death in this manner is difficult, however, this young man’s family is reaching with all of this. Medical examiners can tell by ligature marks whether it was someone else that did it or if it was the person themselves. Unless there is irrefutable evidence to the contrary, it doesn’t make sense that this was a murder. Everything points to suicide.

Some people can never accept the truth, especially when it’s concerning a loved one’s death. Even if they believed it was suicide (which is most likely) it could just be one side of the family vs the other, blaming each other for not seeing that he was struggling, or blaming them for arguing with him that was his last straw. The family could be against their deceased loved one’s spouse, trying to put the blame on them, or they can pin it on bullies from school or their job- the list is endless. But I don’t think it’s uncommon for loved ones of suicide victims to be in denial, thinking they were murdered. I personally have had an outrageous amount of people commit suicide in my life. I’m 38, and I tried to sit down and write a list of everyone from the age of 14 who I’d lost only to suicide. I got to 36 people and I’ve remembered a couple more people from years ago I unfortunately had forgotten. So I’ve lost around the same amount of friends and loved ones to suicide as my numerical age. I’ve found my own fiancé’s body, and I’ve done friends makeup for their funerals. I’ve been swallowed whole in death around me. I can think of half a dozen friends deaths that others thought seemed weird or wrong, whatever that made them talk about how they felt someone came in and murdered them rather than believing they took their own life. Sometimes our brains just don’t want to accept reality and we’ll stay in denial, fighting tooth and nail to keep ourselves from having to face the truth because we’re afraid it may be more painful or we may see things that we personally could have done differently in hopes the outcome would have been different. So we blame it on others, even to the point of making it ours life’s work to find “justice” for the loved one who killed him self but we’re out there looking for a murderer that doesn’t exist.

I’ve lived in Mississippi for forty years. Every time a black dude offs himself they try to pretend the Klan did it. Every time. Even though everyone knows that’s not what actually happened. This isn’t new at all.

RuinedLeon
Yesterday there was a protest for Trey Reed and here are the takeaways
1. Nothing was shown to help anyone believe any of the stories you’ve heard on social media for the past 3 weeks
2. No 2nd Autopsy was shown
3. Pretenders complained that not enough people showed up(while they also didn’t show up)
4. They spent more time doing self promo for other events and organizations
Overall they did that young man 0 favors in getting the truth or justice
