@NadirAgha

I would honestly rather prefer teams to sponsor young girls at the karting level. What often happens is, that girls are far more often withdrawn from karting series because of the financial reasons than the boys of similar age group. At the age of 16 (minimum age for F1 Academy) you can't turn a driver into Max Verstappen anymore. It has to be done at more early ages. Instead of creating a parallel universe of female drivers inferior to male drivers, let's create a generation of female drivers, who can be as strong as elite male F1 drivers.

Have any F1 academy drivers made it to F2? Maybe just sponsor more girls in karting and regional F4. It's got to be more efficient than spinning up a race series just for this.

All that money and still not a single F1 academy champion in F3, definitely doing this just as a charity tax write off

I am currently mid-project of introducing girls into karting & taking girls already/new in karting to F1 Academy… my own PROJECT funded by me & scraping together sponsorship… look out for me - my plan is taking my project to F1 Academy & just for the last mention: I am home grown grass roots & my main objective is giving girls who are not able to fund themselves: I KNOW ITS A DREAM OF MINE —> EVERYTHING STARTED FROM AN IDEA 🏎

Good. Let this be the first step for proper nurturing and growth for women in single seater racing.

I think it’s great to keep this sport going. My 13 year old daughter loves F1 and has now started following F1 academy. I also agree with a lot of other comments regarding sponsoring at karting level.

Ill never understand the point of this series. They all turn into commentators instead of racers, so what is the point?

Its not working. Waste of money. They should try sponsoring kids at a young age. Karting, maybe you could get a generational girl there. 2. Do people actually watch f1 academy? (Its not for me, rather go watch something else)

Sponsoring them would have been much better especially for F2 and F3, Formula academy is a F4 car with really not a great many tracks and obviously the quality of racing is much lower purely because there is a huge difference between driver experience and skills between them. It would be much better if they actually like had a formula academy team in F3 and F2 but the reason probably is costs since F2 and F3 are now in millions per car. But still would be better if we had actual opportunities for the top level. Look at Jamie Chadwick destroyed competition in W series but unfortunately didn't get any serious opportunity in F2 or F3 even though she was a driver academy driver in Williams but still she didn't have funds to race there which is unfortunate

This series a complete joke, not only in form and by its discrimination, but bc of how the sell us a scheme to "help" climb the formula ladder when its not working. The just made up a series based on politics statements and looks, and no clear objetive and results

Yay! I'm so excited for this! Abbi did so well GB3 this year and Doriane and Maya fought like crazy in their F4 and Winter Series racing. I'd love to see what they are capable of in uninterrupted series
