I know every Undertale creator is making a happy 10 year anniversary post, but this one’s going to be different. If you didn’t already know, my most popular edit I’ve ever made was Frisk vs. Springtrap, and my god, the amount of love and support I got on that edit was insane. It genuinely opened my eyes.
You see, I’ve always been a massive fan of Undertale, even back when I hadn’t played the game yet. I found the music so amazing that I would listen to it on repeat all the time. When I eventually got around to playing Undertale, I was shocked, genuinely shocked. I don’t think I’ve ever played a game that left me in such awe before.
The story of Undertale is a beautiful and tragic tale where you the player chooses what happens, whether it’s saving the Underground or completely destroying it. And that’s exactly where one of my favorite characters ever created comes in, Frisk. Where do I even start with this goober, Frisk is an amazing character who tricks you into thinking they’re just some random blank slate child that you have full control over but that’s just not the case.
You and Frisk are a team. You and Frisk are one and the same. While yes, you do control Frisk, they’re still their own person. And I think that’s what made me fall in love with this character so much.
Now, why am I saying all this? Well, it’s to show my genuine gratitude not only to this amazing and beautiful game that gave me one of my favorite protagonists, but also to you. To the amazing Undertale fans who show up and support me whenever I post my daily Frisk glazing session, y’all cannot fathom how much you mean to me.
If it wasn’t for your support on Frisk vs. Springtrap, I would still have 800 subs and be lost and miserable, not knowing what to do with my channel. But y’all helped me choose. And I chose Undertale. So thank you so very much, and please have a good night.
