I would like to see simple games adopted to have advanced features. Like multiplayer local and online, leaderboards and hosting servers. Try to understand how those complex mechanics work.

I know it's not as "sexy" as re-creating Nintendo games; but the glue that holds a game together -- Start Screen, GUI, Ending/Game Over screens, Level transitions, world maps, inventory and other things like that would be awesome. It wasn't hard to create a 'game' in godot, so much as it's hard to put the 'wrapper' around it to make it actually...palatable.

Honestly I would like a good tutorial on some of the more complicated things you can do in Godot! Your introduction to godot4 was amazing and I feel we could learn a lot from you going over either option really.

Anyone learning gamedev can find a snake, breakout, or basic game tutorial, pump it out in an hour, and learn almost nothing. Your audience wants to learn. We don't want what we can find elsewhere. On top of that- godot doesn't offer anything new for those basic games. It's uses will shine in more complex things.

It would be awesome to see tutorials that cover components, composition and state machines in Godot. I'd love to see a tut for something like enter the gungeon.

Heya, for the rest of the year I will focus on Godot! The first video will be out late next month and it is going to be a few smaller 2D games with lots of refinement to make them "juicy", so shaders, tweens, particles etc.
What games would you be more interested:
