I think, in all honesty, that the world has just got progressively more divisive and there seems little end in sight of that. We get grouped into our own silos, individual groups promote their own grievances over others and it’s usually those with the loudest, angriest and most strident voices that get the attention. If humanity as a whole is to progress, we need to learn to bridge the gaps and find common ground or at least gain some understanding of those who’re different from us. Creating more common ground between people is a Herculean task but music is one of the best art forms to help achieve that because it can touch our souls when done right. Anyway… these are just some random ramblings sparked by the above post. I hope they make sense to someone. 🤷♂

Your "I am" was a therapeutic process for me. I adore the depth in all your lyrics.

Spot on. Both sexes are EQUALLY essential & important & need each other for survival of the human species.

Agreed. Both genders are different and valuable; both bring something different and necessary to the table. We are all pieces in the great puzzle. Judgement separates us and causes us to become what we judge (The Universe trying to help us overcome the judgement and teach us compassion). Unifying and cooperation is the way forward.💜

It's also appreciating each genders abilities, contributions & strengths. One is not superior over the other & if we unite together as equals we are more likely to be successful in this Life.

First time an artist I listen to deeply and frequently that shares basically the same perspective about this as me. I'm amazed and emotionally pleased about your thoughts. Thank you, happy day and keep doing what you do!❣️

Stay at home mothers played a vital role in society, raising good stable children, and thus a relatively decent society. A man could fairly comfortably support his family and buy a home on his wage alone, but now those days are gone and the world is objectively worse for it. Division between men and women is systematically fuelled, people are less happy, a stable nuclear family is considered somehow toxic or undesirable, and the masters get to rake in tax from everyone now, yet people are worse off than ever financially, emotionally, mentally. I didn't realise it when I was a kid, but looking back I see how amazing my mother is for raising 4 kids, looking after the home, among other things. It's also a full time job and worthy of respect and appreciation. Unfortunately children are now largely raised by "childcare", TV, internet, and social media, with disastrous consequences. That said, it's great women have the autonomy to choose now, to follow their own dreams and passions, especially for some that were stuck with terrible men with no way out financially, or just the choice to be a wage slave at some crappy job like the majority of men lol. The equality bridge was crossed long ago however, yet manufactured division is still the agenda. Feminism has done great harm to both men and women, and was interestingly started and funded by some very shady men that wanted to tax women too. It's hard for a family to survive on a single wage anymore, impossible for most actually, so the choice to be a stay at home mother is taken away for most women and now they have more burden than ever before by raising a family and needing to work in between. Feminism did that too, intentionally. In any case, live and let live goes a long way. It's all about personal choices for what matters to us in this ephemeral life. If there is a special someone in our lives, respect and cherish them. Something deep and true is as rare as beautiful. Appreciate both good men and women, let them know, and call out bad behaviour whomever the culprit, or both relationships and society will only become more toxic than they already are. I along with all of your fans are glad you're doing what you're doing, your vocals are sublime and bring a lot of calm and beauty into my life. Thanks for being an amazing woman and sharing your grounded thoughts.

Happy International Woman’s Day! 🩸❤️ bleeding as we speak.
I’ll say again what I said last year, and the year before that, and the year… ♻️
I feel lucky and empowered knowing so many beautiful and smart women, as well as having supportive, caring and secure men around me too.
Yes. At some point, we have to ask ourselves “are we excluding more than we are including? (Have we done unto others, what was done to us? And is that a path of growth?”) ☕️💭
(This is also what the lyrics of our song “I Am” is referring to at a deeper level, unknowingly inflicting familiar pain onto others as a form of redemption)
Anyway…
It’s not like there was a time where women didn’t work. A question for the TradWives movement: isn’t what you do work? Isn’t it equally highly valuable work? Raising the next human beings of this earth. The feminists from back in the day were (amongst other things) actually fighting for stay-at-home mothers to be seen as an equal contributor to society.
For me it’s always been about building a strong feeling of community with all of us...
It’s about Humans raising each other. For me, it’s about having equal opportunities to choose what’s right for you. Regardlesst if it’s in line- or in contradiction with traditional gender norms/roles. It’s about having the freedom to live out your inner truth.
What if all genders could embrace this philosophy? 🌱🌳
…Kumbaya 🎶 🙌🏼
ok ..
thanks.
