It's been a very long time since you all last heard from me. In fact, it's been over a year since my last upload/post on my channel.
If your wondering how I've been doing lately, I've been doing well. But a lot of things has happened since my last video.
First off, I graduated college last year in May of 2024! In fact its been exactly one year since I graduated by the time I'm writing this (May 19th). I'm super happy that after four rocky years, I finally finished college! =D
But however, the last few months of my senior year was extremely stressful. As I had a senior project to do in order to graduate. What didn't help was that I pulled several all-nighters so I can complete it on time, and it stressed me out tremendously. What also didn't help was that there were constant quizzes, tests, and other additional projects alongside it.
This ultimately left me little time to work on my videos as I had to finish everything before it was too late. By the time I graduated, I was completely burned out and I needed some time to take the time to relax and focus more on myself and my future.
Several months after graduating college, I attempted to bounce back by continuing to work on videos and updates. But I was still really burned out by college. And to top it off, I also dealt with a lot of personal issues that I've been dealing with for sometime to the point I couldn't find any motivation to continue with the videos.
While I would like to tell you all more about what has been going on. I would rather discuss this in another update video. Basically a sequel to the "Where have I been" video. As I want to give you guys updates on what has been going on since my last upload, updates on future videos, and especially the future of my channel.
But...for the past few months, mainly since last month, I started to regain my motivation little by little each day! I started drawing more frequently on my drawing tablet, I attended a pre-college class for figure drawing over the winter and I'm planning to go for another class in the summer for animation. Going on trips both locally and overseas, attending my first ever convention (LVL UP Expo in Las Vegas) or having my first real convention experience, and hanging out with friends more.
But most importantly, I started to gain motivation to make videos again!
So as a little gift, I'll show you guys some sneak peeks and something new for my channel.
(Going off in order):
1. Since 2024, I wanted to update my profile icon to something new. I once made a drawing of myself splattered in paint for my DeviantArt profile. So I decided to remake it, and use it for my channel. And not too long ago, I managed to finish it. And here it is!
2. For the past two years now, I've been working very hard on making a re-make to my first ever animation: "The Blowing". A skit from one of my favorite Nickelodeon shows: iCarly. (Which yes, I was already aware of the controversies surrounding Dan Schneider and I do not support anything on what he did to the poor actors. I even read Jennette Mccurdy's book when it came out and it was very good. But I greatly feel bad for Jennette.).
As mentioned several times, the animation has a lot of custom movements and I really want to make it as good as possible. However, there were many times in which I had to constantly re-adjust or re-write several scenes because it didn't turn out the way I wanted it to be or because it didn't fit within the run time. While I'm at the part where one guy screams to another: "WHERE'S MY OINTMENT!!!" I have to go back and remake one of the scenes after that is finished.
But I hope in the end, you will all enjoy it! (And don't mind the shirtless Gibby in the gif, lol).
3. Hint, Hint at my next video that comes out very soon! ;)
4. I should have said this when I hit the milestone...but...THANK YOU ALL FOR 1000 SUBSCRIBERS!!!!!!! I never would I have thought that I would make it this far. Making these videos has always been a blast and words can't express how happy I am and I can't thank you all enough for the love and support. I greatly appreciate you all for supporting me!
But what could this have to do with 1000 subs? Hmm...
5. And of course, a plushie review with our favorite Flipline Studios Radish Girl: Radlynn. I tried to film a review video back in August and September of last year. While I had no motivation at that time to film it, I did however film parts of a skit for the video. So after the release of the video featured in the 3rd picture, (And possibly my unfinished Lackadaisy MAP which I still haven't finished yet or a recap of my experience at LVL UP Expo), the plush review will be next!
Overall, I'm really happy that after so long of constant burn outs, lack of motivation, and even struggling with a lot of personal things. I'm ready to bounce back and get back to work! (Even though I know most of you guys left the PLP fandom since my last upload).
But also, in the update video. I will be giving you guys updates for videos I also want to make for my channel. Which I'm super excited to give it a go! And also gaming videos too.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you again so much for your support for the past 6 1/2 years. And I hope to talk to you all very soon.
