Traffic congestion - Put an end to private transport and small/medium size vehicle public transport for large vehicle (buses) public transport only. We clearly don't have the capital to build the many more required roads and if there is, corruption in govt isn't stopping any time soon. Solution: Reduce number of vehicles on the roads and maximize carpooling. Sanitation - Privatize sanitation and environment conservation. Create a sanitation tax that pays the private companies that do the cleaning of the environment especially the cities. Frankly, not enough of us are willing to volunteer to improve sanitation and environment conservation. Will ppl accept such suggestions? No, because they infringe on their comfort, independence, freedoms etc. Unfortunately, that's why we'll keep going in circles or taking one step forward and two steps backwards.
