I have to agree with you. There are so many “make your first game” tutorials out there. It would just drown in all the noise. I am considering doing some tutorial videos next year. They will be very specific on how to make a certain feature of a game with emphasis on how to design the feature. I think that is a more interesting approach to things, simply because that is the hardest part of programming anything. Follow-along programming tutorials are often too long and you spend more time on seeing code being typed rather than understanding what you are doing - and why. The best tutorials out there are short, spends most time on explaining the approach and linking to a GitHub page (or even Patron).

I've got a couple of requests to make a "first game" very basic tutorial. I've seen a lot of tutorials here on YouTube, so I believe there is no need to make another one. Maybe sometime in the future, because for now - every video to make takes a lot of time, and on top of that - I'm also working on my game. Thank you for subscribing, and thank you for your understanding! ;)
