To the people who saw the Back at the Barnyard series: What's the wildest memory you have of that show?

I'll go first. Flying Bigfoot.

The episode where Otis was accidentally hypnotized into killing the farmer whenever he heard a bell. Good God, it was funny, confusing, and terrifying all at the same time.

That episode where Bessie thinks Otis is her long-lost son, who she lost because of him being carried into the air by a bunch of balloons, and by the end of it, that cow was still being lifted up high in the sky years later. It was called Bessie's Mom, I think, and I remember nothing else about the show.

The rocking Leprechaun solo as he flies over the rainbow to his gold It's very short and only has one word repeated but MAN does that have soul

One of the only things I remember from the show is that, IIRC, the protagonist cow was making "karate noises & movements" & a bee stung him on the udders (which male cows don't have) & it resulted in a new bump on his udders. That's probably the only thing I remember about the show

@MyNamelsNotJohn

I remember these episodes where they all had superhero identities as if being able to talk and walk like humans wasn’t nuts enough. Also the first episode already firing on all cylinders with the expertly produced fake commercial for Turnip-Con which the farmer immediately buys into

The one where they tried to find the farmer a girlfriend, only for her to be a gold digger who didn't tolerate them, at which point they had Pig catfish her, but he actually fell in love, and when he confessed the truth to the lady she was more concerned about him not being rich than not being a human. Also, the scene in another episode where the weasel character's parents visited and he came out to them as vegetarian.

Everyone dresses up as a human family, despite pip being much smaller he gets to be a kid while pig has to be a giant fuckin baby

@RunonTales

I only saw the episode where the weasel gets a talking dummy which comes to life and starts to secretly turn all his friends against him, that was enough to scare me from watching the rest of the show as a kid.

When one of the female cows thought Otis was her son because they both have the same cowbells when they were kids, turns out they are not related at all but they still have a family bond, turns out her kid was still floating away clutching on balloons at the end of the episode before credits shouting for help

@Crazy56U

Them directly ripping off Superman with a TV special where Otis was a superhero and that one lady contacted him in a frequency that only cows could hear. This has stuck with me all my life because of how enraged I was when I first saw the special as a kid.

The episode where they need to raise money or something so Otis decides to milk himself and freaks out from being succed too hard. WHY DID HE HAVE UDDERS!? HE IS A BOY!!!

I'm pretty sure i watched the show everytime it was on tv, but for some reason, my memories are repressed like it's trying to forget the fever dream it witnessed

I recall that deformed weasle/cat (I didn't know what it was when I was younger) was very sick and infected SANTA, and the barn animals were flying on Santa's sleigh. It was probably a Holiday Christmas special episode, and I remember them crashing into things with the sleigh.

@HarmonieM

The time the basically were the beatles and they sang that one song “it’s been a barn’s day night” or something. I still sing that song from time to time

I watched that show so much as a kid but weirdly enough I don't remember too much. I have more vivid memories of the video game which is weird in its own right such as playing gopher golf, making that chicken dude fly and hitting targets, getting honey while bees chased after you (which scared the shit our of me) I stopped playing a game after they introduced the coyotes because for some weird reason they just really scared me to the point where I stopped playing (yes even more than the bees) the game was so weird but I was still a great time as a kid

I cant remember a single thing about that fever dream of a show but I do remember my very first nightmare at about 6 years old. It was at the barn and it was flooded, I had to hop on this boat with Otis in it, paddling through this dark flooded barn with sharks in it and i did not trust that cow for a second. T'was like being dead and going through the underworld on charon's boat, watching all horror unfold.

@nevod.

I vividly remember an episode where the chicken gets turned into a cyborg and goes insane and then Otis also gets turned into a cyborg to try and fight the chicken. Another memory I have is from an episode where they play golf because one of their weird human friends has appendicitis and the pig from the show gets coached by Otis on how to become the best golf player and there's a really weird scene in that episode that never left my mind where it's like a trippy ass acid scene where Otis is telling pig to be the ball
