Sometimes God doesn’t wait on your obedience. He steps in and moves you forward—because what you have is needed NOW.
Last week, God showed me that there was still a part of me holding onto the familiar—some old methods, mindsets, messaging, and mechanics were still there.
There was something specific I needed to do to symbolizing the finality of the old.
But… I got sidetracked. Life happened, and I didn’t follow through.
Wednesday, I received a letter in the mail saying that the very thing I was supposed to do had already been done for me—definitely not a coincidence.
I couldn’t help but laugh because, in that moment, I realized that God wasn’t waiting on me. He was already moving things forward.
Sometimes, what we hold onto for too long, He removes so we can step into what He’s ultimately calling us to.
So, here’s the real message: Just do what God says. Even if it feels uncomfortable, uncertain, or unfamiliar—do it. You don’t know how many steps are waiting to unfold once you take that first act of obedience.
I was reminded again today that when we let go, we give God room to show up. And trust me, He will move things—even if it means stepping in and doing it for you when you hesitate.
God is not waiting on you to have it all figured out. He’s asking for your trust that He already has.
Where is He calling you to let go and embrace the new?
