As I got feedback on the front lights maybe looking a bit too modern for a 1980s Group C car, I have created an alternative. Which one fits better?

Second one feels like something I'd see IRL, which is good. But the DS is so pretty and unique

Finally, at 630 votes, and just in time for the new episode, the standings are 50:50, so I can do whatever I want! ✊

The DS reminds me of the Porsche 917 headlights, while the custom angular reminds me of the F40. Which means the angular one fits the 1980's vibe better. But I don't think the DS lights necessarily look 'too modern'.

To be completely honest, the second type of headlights Is more similar to the original Lancia LC2, but I prefer the original one Martin chose Simply because they resemble more the shape of a Group 4 era prototype (Totally not the Ferrari 330 P3 and P4, no no.) They Just look cleaner and more original for a Group C car

I like the second one better, but the thing we are discussing is whether it is appropriate to 80s Group C and I have no idea if the second fits that. The Vertical DS looks a bit more "dated" but maybe that's what you'd want? If so then the second setup would go in the back pocket for the eventual modernization touchup. The second setup feels more 90s somehow.

The DS Light looks to modern and makes the car look like a Radical form the 2010s.

The vertical one is unique and cool but the angular one feels period correct.

The bottom one looks much more realistic

An interesting compromise idea I had was to cover up the upper section of the DS style headlights, just to see what effect that gives.
