I’m currently working on a Last of Us ambience however I’m stuck between two creative directions & could really use your input!
Which style would you prefer for this upload?
📖 Option 1 – “Chapter Style” ❤️ Visuals: From The Last of Us game This version follows a structure similar to my "ALIEN - Nostromo" upload.
- The environment & soundscape change every 30 minutes, shifting between different stationary scenes. - You’ll see & hear clickers enter and exit, fully synced with the visuals. - The audio will include custom elements & sound design, adding subtle evolution while staying true to the on-screen environment. - Overall, this offers a more visually accurate representation of the world, with stationary locations that rotate like chapters.
🏞️ Option 2 – “Natural Flow Style” 🔥 Visuals: Stills from the Last of Us HBO series (edited with subtle motion) This version takes inspiration from my "War of the Worlds" upload.
- The Ambience is designed to evolve more realistically & tell a story through sound alone. - It transitions between multiple audible environments & emotional tones—calm, eerie, intense, distant, close up—capturing a broader range of atmosphere. - Visuals will not accurately depict what is heard however the ambience will be a more cinematic experience. - This version offers more unique sound design, movement/variation & references to key story moments.
