Forever greatful the emotion now felt in memory for one late Saturday night while lying in bed listening to an old AM radio. Local midnight DJ of hay seed local spinning pop songs of current top forty, saying: Never heard here locally until now, a new band from LA, listen up out there -- hear Light My Fire. Then silence but barely a second when in basement darkness heard the iconic opening organ riff. Thereafter unleashed a listening mind did adrift in parallel a heart experienced an uplift.

The Doors
πΈ Photographer Spotlight: Bobby Klein
Klein was one of the first photographers to work with The Doors, shooting them throughout 1966 and 1967 as they rose to fame. He photographed the band at the Venice Canals, in front of their famous Sunset Strip billboard in Los Angeles, and by the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.
Kleinβs early images helped define The Doorsβ public image just as their debut album was being released. He later went on to become a licensed psychologist and spiritual counselor, working in that field for decades.
