100% agreed. They think it promotes people to have better feelings towards videos when they see only likes, but it also stops others from seeing that other people disagree with what’s in the video and kind of takes away the ability for people to look at that data and make a choice on how to respond. In doing so they also screw their algorithm because if less people dislike, there isn’t as much data on what they like and don’t like. Ads should also be addressed btw, the double standards are terrible, it’s too hard to report, and you can’t change what you want to see by directly saying I’m not interested like you would with a video.

YouTube removing the dislike count from videos is one of the WORST decisions they have made. And that is saying a lot, as they have made many shitty decisions. Half of the shit this company does makes no sense.
