Just so everyone is aware - There is a fraudulent artist going around claiming ownership of music that they did not create. If you were affected by this, it can be resolved. So far, the following RFP songs have been claimed by this thief:
• Synth Kid – Hope Is Not Lost • Synth Kid – Devotion • EVA – 失望した
The email I got from YouTube says that all these tracks were claimed by "Adrev for Rights Holder". I disputed each claim and they have been resolved. Here's what to do if this happens to you:
• Select "See Details" from the copyright claim on your video. Click "Select Actions" and "Dispute". • Select the checkboxes that you are not infringing on anyone's copyright and that you have a license. • When it asks you to enter a description, type the following:
This song was released under a Creative Commons Attribution license by the original artist. I am correctly using the music according to the license terms.
Then click Submit and wait for the dispute to be reviewed and the claim will soon be released.
I apologize for anyone affected by this. It's unfortunate that frauds like this take advantage of the generous artists who release Creative Commons music for content creators. The music uploaded to this channel is strictly curated and features only trustworthy artists that clearly state their CC license. Feel confident that if you receive a copyright claim for a song you found on this channel, it is false and can be disputed without penalty to your channel. Of course, make sure that you are crediting the artists in your video descriptions as the license states.
Thank you all. Feel free to leave a comment if you have any questions. 💙 Dave
