It makes me too much emotional because I never got love from my maternal grandparents and also not from my paternal grandfather. Because they died before my birth. Grandmother who love me so much but she died last year and i still miss her.❤️

Happy to know I have her with me, my grandma, I have only her as a grandparent and honestly love to have her.. They r sometimes strict, rude and scolds u a lot, but whenever I sit besides her, I talks to her a lot abt her childhood, her fav. child and grandchild 😄 she always says, " In paancho me se kisi bhi ungli ko kaato, utna hi dard hoga" I neither have nani, nana or dada but only her... ❤ Happy grandparents day, going to wish her rn ❤❤✨

I still have my grandparents... But afsos that they don't want girls and we are three sisters she's a bit sad for my dad that he don't have a son to make his family grow further...aur ofc ye purane myth hai ki family aage sirf beta leke jata hai ... I know ye soch purani hai unki aur shayad rahegi bhi hamesha.... I wish Ek din me ise change kar pau Or sir ka ye message dekh ke itna toh realize hua it's really real life is nit same for everyone but the good thing we should keep tackling all the problems. Respecting our elders and move forward

Mere saath mere Nana ji or nani ji rhte hai but dadi or dada nhi dadi ji ko toh tab khoya tha jab chota tha me or dada ji ko when I'm 9-12 yrs old. Or also in previous year my most closest father 😢😢 but I'm commenting too late after Grandparents day was gone but no problem because sir's post was recommended while I'm studing I have read all the things that digraj sir mentioned. It's really true to spend a time with our grandparents they second parents after our real one. Or really take care for us. 😊

I have my grandfather with me now . I lost my grandmother 5 years ago in 2020 . I was about 8 years then . My grandmother died due to a long term illness. I remember how she and my dada used to pamper me . She gave me chocolates due to which I got many cavities 😂 . Her last words to my grandfather was - “ take care of my granddaughter “ and then she left this world 🕊

The person in the photo is my maternal great-grandmother (meri nani ji ki mummy).
A few days back, she came to meet me and stayed with us for a few days.
I took her to my office. Walking slowly, she was observing, meeting other people, and showering blessings on everyone and everything present there.
She didn’t ask about any materialistic details, nor did she care about them. Her only expression was "Accha h beta, sab badiya hai; sab khush raho, bhagwan ashirwad banaye rakhe"
Jab vo waha par thi to maine feel kiya ki jeevan ki saari uplabhdhi, success, faliure aur sab kuch ek taraf aur jo satisfaction unhe khush dekhkar hua tha uska experience ek taraf hai.
Kuch blessings ekdum divine hoti hain, kuch touches aise feel hote hain jaise swayam Bhagwan ne chhoo diya ho. Kuch log aapke liye aise khus hote hai ki vo shayad khud ke liye bhi itna khus nahi hote ho; or ye sab kuch maine us din anubhav kar liya.
Kamyab ladke ko sab sweekar kar lete hain, par agar mai nakamyab hota to mujhe sweekar karne wale log bahut kam hote, aur unmein se ek mere grandparents hote.✨
Do you know what is the best part is about grandparents and their love?
Unke liye aap kabhi bade nahi hote ho.
Aapke parents, friends or baaki relative ki nazro m aap umar or apne kaam ke sath bade hote jaate ho, unka behavior aapke sath change ho jaata h, par jab bat aati hai aapke grandparents ki toh jo love, affection and basic nature of relation aapke beech m rehta hai vo hamesha hi ek jaisa hota hai. Constant and infinite.
Aaj grandparents day hai, maine aapne Baa ( Dadaji), Buji ( Dadiji ), Nanaji ko bhout jaldi kho diya tha. Unke saath utna samay nahi bita paaya. Rishto ko gehrayi se nahi samajh paaya.
Aaj jab life ko thoda samjha hai, to dil karta h ki kaash aaj vo hote.
Vo mujhe dekhte to unhe kaisa lagta?
Unse baate karta.
Uhne batata ki mai kya karta hu, kaise karta hu.
Unse puchta ki wo kya karte the?
Jab vo meri umar ke the tab vo kaise or kya kya karte the ?
Aaj mere pass puchne ko bhout saare sawal hai, batane ko bhout saari baate hai par afsos sirf ye hai ki aaj vo nahi hai.
I miss the opportunity that I could have expressed. Some voids are so deep that you regret them the most.
The point of explaining this is that one day everyone has to leave this world. The law of nature says that if our grandparents are aging, they are closer to the doors of heaven and have relatively less time left on Earth.
One day when they will leave you, you will miss them; instead, go, take out some time, and talk to them.
One day you will cry for them; instead, go and laugh with them today.
One day you will feel you could have spent some more time with them; instead, go and meet them today.
One day you will offer flowers to their photo; instead, go and give them a rose today, a complementary hug, and a few words of gratitude. I can assure you that you are going to get back a few "Gili pappiya" as a return gift for sure.
I have a learning: Life humbles you. As you grow old, you stop chasing the big things and start valuing the little things. I request you to do a little thing: If you have grandparents, go wish them and capitalize on this opportunity.
You will realize what true happiness stands for.
