< Lifting the Heel > [Psalm 41:9] “Even my close friend, in whom I trusted, who ate my bread, has lifted up his heel against me.” Jesus came to fulfill all the words of the Old Testament. [John 13:26–27] 26 Jesus answered, “It is the one to whom I will give this piece of bread when I have dipped it.” Then, dipping the piece of bread, he gave it to Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot. 27 As soon as Judas took the bread, Satan entered into him. So Jesus told him, “What you are about to do, do quickly.” The word for the moneybox that Judas kept is γλωσσόκομον (glōssokomon), which originally meant “a case for stringed instruments (musical-related).” Later, its meaning shifted to “moneybox” or “purse.” This shows that Lucifer was once the closest to God, associated with music, but later that very “instrument case” became a box for money—stolen and misused. In the last days the same thing will happen again: a great apostasy will arise. Money represents God’s own people.
