Even if Takahashi said xenoblade x was just a fever dream and that only xenosaga is canon (no hate toward saga it's peak fiction). I wouldn't do that. Because still trying to unlock her.

Ludonarrative dissonance in Xenoblade games. For example, you can kill beasts from the Bionis in the first game before unleashing the Monado's power, and how one of Xenoblade 2's main themes is the ways blades are mistreated by humans, and at the same time the main party can just dispose of them like nothing.
