You are right that those who are merely lucky often incorrectly credit themselves and their choices for such luck. It is also true, however, that a person, in most circumstances, can choose meaning and purpose, regardless of their luck. Your videos show how capable you are and the opportunities you have to find meaning. My hope for you is not lighter days, but that you are lucky enough to find or see both the love we all need and some meaning in your experiences.

Have you tried a course in miracles? Advaita (non-dual) teachings? Shadow work is good, but those are training wheels until eventually realization occurs and the entire illusion of ego can be released. There are superb teachers on YT, you don't have to join a buddhist monastery or live in an Ashram anymore, my current favorite is Simply Always Awake. "I am nothing" you're already at the threshold. Very dark days for me, personally, as life continues and I struggle to find my path through it. I appreciate all encouragement. I have my old 1080p 60fps webcam set up and maybe will do a live stream just chatting kind of thing soon. I'm hoping that at least a sizable chunk of the 1.5 thousand of us can engage more together and be more of a community of common interests.
From my perspective, it seems like most people flit through life with the same kind of ups and downs. I feel like a black sheep in the world; I hope to be a voice for anyone who can relate to that. I feel like despite my exertion and striving, life has left its mark on me rather than me leaving my mark on life. And in my personal experience, the "carpe diem" type are either handed everything from the outset or find just the right cards along the way, so to speak, and assume it was they themselves who are responsible for their good fortune.
I am the least. I am nothing. But what I have, I wish to offer by way of thought, discussion, and creativity in the hopes that you will be edified. Soli deo gloria.
