Good morning! Sweetie has come out of the shell, that's wonderful. Sadly I missed it live, but as I see she didn't need me. Take a nap, Alwyn, you need it.

It was simply great to keep the fingers crossed while watching what happened inside the incubator. Also all your information and your interaction with the ducklings inside the eggshells was adorable. And also the possibility to communicate with people around the world who also were waiting was very nice! I'm curious, when both of the others were hatched and if all things went well during the mornig hours.

Hi just posting this comment as we have now gotten a new family member ... a wee baby blackbird, my daughters watched it being dropped by a bird, he's one of two, first one landed on the concrete and sadly died but happy this wee one survived, only a day old I think, really just need your advice on what do, he's lasted a whole night and day so we're hoping he'll last and leave the coop, though I'm guessing that'll be a sad day, we've fallen in love with him already 🥹. PS, love your channel

Something you should know. The moment you put the egg in the water, you cut off the chick's air. it breathes through the shell, not just the air bubble at the pole
