Kalasa Sthapana Schedule
The at-home schedule runs for four days, from Monday, October 20th, to Thursday, October 23rd.
Daily Schedule (October 20th, 21st, 22nd)
Morning Pooja:
Preparation: Place one Baba photo in your dedicated pooja room or chosen clean space.
Lighting the Lamps: Light two lamps (Deepam).
Offering: Offer fresh flowers.
Chanting: Read the 108 names of Baba or chant "Om Sri Sainathaya Namaha" (1 mala or 108 times).
Prasad: Offer any prasad, such as dry fruits or a homemade dish.
Aarthi: Conclude with the morning Aarthi.
Evening pooja
Light the Lamp: Light a lamp in the evening (This is especially significant on the evening of Oct 20th, Diwali).
Chanting: Chant "Om Sri Sainathaya Namaha" (1 mala).
Conclusion and Temple Submission (Thursday, October 23rd)
This is the final day of your at-home observance and the submission for the grand temple anniversary.
Morning Pooja: Perform the usual morning pooja schedule.
Offerings: Offer some prasad and perform the Aarthi.
Bringing the Kalasam to the Temple:
Please bring the holy Kalasam (the pot used for Sthapana) to the Saibaba Temple by 6:30 AM on Thursday, October 23rd.
The sacred water from your Kalasa's will be collected and used in the Holy Abhishekam to Baba, ensuring your personal devotion is an integral part of the main temple celebration.
Important Note on Attire
We request all devotees to come in traditional Indian attire for the Kalasam drop-off and all temple events to honor the sanctity of the celebration:
Men: Dhoti
Women: Saree
