PS1 is far more nostalgic to me. Gran Turismo, Ridge Racer Type 4, Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy VII, Tekken 3 just to name a few of many.

Ps1 era was the most experimental and interesting imo, 2 and 3 are great and have tons of unique games but they start to get more formulaic as standardized controls and mechanics became popular

I love the PS1, it's where my passion for gaming really began, but the PS2 had and still has the largest library of games out of any console and the variety within it was outstanding. That's difficult to compete against even for PS1 and PS3.

PS1 is great. Don't get me wrong. But ps2 was a major graphical leap and a gaming Renaissance

The PS2 has a library that lasted well into, and even throughout the prime of the PS3.

While the PS2 had the best most conventional games I'm going to have to vote for PS1. Something magical about all the experimental titles, more risks taken, lower costs to develop.

I keep getting more games for PS2 than 1 or 3.That's how I determined my vote.

The fact that PS3 isn't a close second, but third, is pretty ridiculous.
