I am most unfortunately a unifor union member. I find their political meddling disgusting. They don't ask members if the should spend our dues on political activities and have the nerve to tell us how to vote. Would like to see this corrupt union dismantled. Bring it home Pierre, you have my vote.

I’ve been asked by some people why Rebel News Network Ltd. has registered as a third party campaign in the election. The answer might surprise you — it surprised me.
Rebel has a call centre that phones our subscribers year-round. They told us that some of those conversations might naturally turn to the election, which could be construed as a campaign activity. They said we had two choices: shut down our call centre until the election was over, or register the call centre and disclose its activities, just to be safe. So we chose the second option. As you can see on the Elections Canada disclosure website, the only expense is that call centre.
Rebel News is not alone. There are two pro-CBC third party campaigns registered in this election. And Canada’s largest journalism union, Unifor, has a third party campaign, too — they always do.
Unifor journalists work at the CBC, CTV, the Globe and Mail and other places. Every Unifor journalist has a portion of their union dues spent on anti-Conservative campaigns.

Oddly enough, that Globe and Mail story doesn’t mention that the Globe and Mail is part of Unifor.
Have you ever seen a Unifor journalist -- at CBC, CTV, the Globe, etc. -- disclose that they are personally funding anti-Conservative campaigns?
