My office chair broke a caster and I haven’t found a direct replacement yet. 3D Printing to the rescue. It works better than I hoped it would. Buys me time to find a proper fix.

Buy yourself a set of the nice roller blade looking wheels with ball bearings and you'll never look back.

I can’t imagine why it would be hard to find a replacement for that. It looks like it uses the standard wheels that literally every office chair I’ve ever seen uses.

What size are the casters, because I designed some 4” swivel casters that use a combination of 608 bearings and BBs that are 3D printable

You should upgrade the wheels to roller blade style wheels they are like $10-15 on amazon. Otherwise I have a brand new set of wheels you can have off my chair I just bought. I replaced the wheels before using the chair.

Why not just print a caster?

Why wouldn’t you just buy a new chair?
