I was really looking forward to it, but I also imagine the huge weight of making a whole game like this. That's completely fair from your part. Still, I really hope we can see it finished one day, even if it's not soon.

Following my previous announcement, I am truly sorry to have to share this news with you. At this point, I believe FOR:US has reached an uncertain future due to a shortage of hands and a slowdown in development. This is most likely because the people leading this game—including myself—are, for the most part, individuals with little to no prior experience working in a studio environment.
All of these issues combined have led us to where we are now. To everyone who has composed music, worked as voice actors, created models, and supported us with high expectations—I honestly don’t know what words could be enough. After discussions with the core team, we’ve come to the conclusion that discontinuing FOR:US is, for now, the best course of action. If we were to keep dragging the project forward and continue promoting it, only to reach a point where development becomes impossible, the situation would be even worse.
For these and several other reasons, the cancellation of FOR:US has now been finalized. I am deeply sorry to bring you such sudden and disappointing news.
