I think I was supposed to see this just now. I Lost my job one week ago. I'm trying to be positive, but work was my life and I've been feeling worse every day. These words help.

I really needed to hear this today. I'm following your tutorials on data analysis and making projects on a daily basis so that I can start applying for data analyst jobs; however the job market seems so saturated and the possibility of AI limiting our prospects really dampens my motivation sometimes and I wonder if my hard work will be worth it. But doing nothing guarantees failure. We have to keep trying. Unlearn, learn and upskill as required. Luck favours the prepared. We'll get somewhere.

I have been learning and building skills for the past year or so, and now LinkedIn restricted my account, so I only have my portfolio site left to showcase my skills. But to be honest, data analyst jobs are saturated here in India, and experienced people (3-4+ years) are taking fresher jobs. And on top of that, fake job posts/ ghost jobs and sh*t labor laws make it worse here. Imagine spending 30 minutes or so applying for a job and turned out it was a ghost job post.

It's hard to stay motivated when you don't know if it'll work out or not - but not doing anything is guaranteed to keep you where you are.
Most people are capable of so much more than they are doing or they think they can do!
A lot of it is believing in yourself and believing the work you're putting in will pay off in the end.
