Over the past week, we've been crafting a cinematic journey back to a magical long weekend we took last November. We were craving snow-dusted landscapes, breathtaking vistas, a touch of history, and of course, mouthwatering food. Our compass pointed us towards the majestic Bavarian Alps! We snagged a sweet deal on British Airways flights to Munich and, after a quick overnight at the airport, our adventure began.

We traded the mild Munich air for the crisp, snow-kissed embrace of the Alps. This weekend, we're unleashing a video that captures it all: exhilarating hikes, scenery so stunning it'll leave you speechless, and charming villages steeped in history. Like Mittenwald, where the echoes of violin making still resonate, and the opulent Linderhof Palace, one of the fairytale castles dreamed up by the eccentric King Ludwig II.

And yes, we indulged in the incredible local cuisine! This trip was a feast for all the senses.

Started watching you guys as you had a video of Fort Augustus, and I wanted to reminisce of the wonderful day my wife and I had had there during our honeymoon about 1 year prior. We were visiting from America and we loved the parts of Ireland and Scotland we got to see so very much. I know you both have been going through a lot over the last half a year or so, but I wanted to share how not just that video, but all the ones I watch since discovering you bring me back to the sheer peace of mind I had while visiting, even when it’s a video on a place I’ve never been. Thank you so much for giving me a few moments of guaranteed serenity and whimsy when watching your entries. I hope you both in turn are able to find some of the same from life time to time.
