Honestly being critical of AEW isn’t the issue because there are things people can be critical about but hating on AEW just for the sake of it is honestly just ridiculous.

I'll go with option 5, I don't like having to criticize it, but a lot of the criticism is warranted.

Tony Khan’s dad is worth over 10 billion, Tony has never been an underdog in his life.

I don't mind people criticizing AEW. It is my current favorite brand of wrestling, but I'll admit that it's not perfect and has room to improve. My issue is the people who ONLY talk about the negatives like Top10Wrestling. If you don't give credit where it's due, really your opinion is just noise. But hey it's easy content. Anti-AEW marks will watch it because they like anything that bashes AEW and AEW marks will hate watch so either way those videos are successful.

I don't hate on AEW. I hate on Tony Khan. He stood at all those press conferences and lied to our faces over and over. "Sports based presentation" was a lie. "Not just gonna push old WWE guys" was a lie (more so at the beginning of the company, but still going on today). He's a toy collector playing wrestling booker. He's collecting all his favorite action figures IRL and making them do random matches for his own enjoyment. AEW isn't the problem. Tony Khan is the problem. If you don't believe me, look at the Jaguars too. He's the head of Football Operations or something like that, and the team is absolute trash all the time. He has no idea what he's doing.

I watch dynamite every week and buy every single aew ppv hoping that aew gets good again because I used to adore the product. The fact that it’s been shit for a year isn’t a result of tribalism or online trolls, it’s the result of bad booking decisions. If that kind of “negativity” is a problem, I genuinely question whether you actually like aew and want the best for it.

Criticism is one thing and some people on the web do it well, but then you get people making a cottage industry of just making anti-AEW Content to the point where it's nauseating. They are also very hypocritical. You can get them raving about someone in WWE, but once they go to AEW then they become the worst thing that ever happened to pro wrestling. It can be hilarious, but most of the time it's just sad.

It's not that AEW doesn't have issues, it's that the vast majority seem to be petty brand/Fed d-riding and/or tribalism.

If you always root for the underdog, root for TNA.

It amazes me how people always want wrestling to be more successful yet they constantly bash any company that's not WWE.

I'm getting so sick of it, you can't look at anything online anymore without tribalism in the comments.

For me there are things you can criticise AEW for, but it’s the people who show the empty seats going “look at the low attendance! The promotions dying” gets on my gears more than anything tbh

AEW isn't perfect but it's cool & it's nice to have choices Every1 needs to just sthu & enjoy wrestling no matter who they like Tribalism sucks

If AEW actually put out consistently good products, there would not be much bashing. I always root for the second-tier wrestling promotions to have success because if they are successful and put out a great product and are genuinely good competition for the WWE, that would push the WWE to improve its product. Sadly, AEW has been an immense disappointment so far. They need new bookers and hire people who are actually experts in putting on a great wrestling product and have a great long-term vision of the company.

It's dumb as hell. And most of the hate comes from people who don't even watch it, they just parrot what Jim Cornette and Eric Bischoff say about it. AEW is good, and has been getting better in recent weeks. But some people just can't accept that. Their loss.

While I'm not personally a fan of aew, I can respect what they're doing. That's something that a lot of people don't seem to realize, just because they don't like something doesn't mean it's objectively bad.

I love that no predictions haters say never happen. Cornettos "AEW will not survive a year" is a classic

I wouldn’t have an issue with AEW if their fans didn’t push the narrative that everything is the best thing ever until the next week when that’s the best thing ever.

As someone who's been to Wembley and has drifted in and out of the program as iits gone up and down. You can see who's watching the show every week and who's just repeating nonsense. Like at the moment with Moxley it has sparked a buzz about it again and it's simply a case of keeping that up. But there's a lot of folks who will first say the storylines aren't there when they clearly are. Mox as champ has revised the product and now there's more going on especially in the undercard which was the biggest problem imo as folks were disappearing. Thank you for reading my yapping.

Do you get tired of all the anti AEW content online? Personally speaking I will always root for the underdog. Even if that’s not fashionable. Being anti AEW is basically it’s own genre nowadays.
