I am sure you know the word "shar" in Russian means "ball", "Sphere", or "orb". There is a word sounding very close to it - "zhar". It means "heat" or "fever". In Russian mythology there is a "Zhar-Bird", or "Fire-bird", a close equivalent to "phoenix".
