John Moyer

You’re healing. You’re journaling.
You’re drinking mushroom tea and writing love letters to your inner child.
And then...

Someone cuts you off in traffic and your
soul momentarily leaves your body to whisper,
“Ram their car. But gently. With love.”

And you think,
“Wait! I thought I was past this?”

Let’s set the record straight:

Healing doesn’t mean you don’t get pissed anymore.
It means your anger isn’t running the show.
But it is allowed to view the show.
Maybe not in the audience of the theater.
But at home on the couch, streaming it.

And yes, there is such a thing as sacred anger.

It’s not chaos.
It’s clarity.

It’s the part of you that says,
“No. Actually, that’s not okay.
And I’m not swallowing it for the sake of ‘peace.’”

You’re not failing your evolution because you still fantasize
about throat-punching someone in line at Whole Foods.

You’re human.
And just because you’ve read The Four Agreements
doesn’t mean you have to be impeccable with your silence.

So the next time you start to feel like Bruce Banner
going sideways in an anger management class…

Don’t shove the anger down.
Don’t shame it away.
Just don’t hand it the mic at Thanksgiving Dinner.

You’re allowed to feel it, honor it, and still choose a response
that doesn’t require bail money or karmic cleanup.

Because healing isn’t perfection.

It’s presence.
It’s discernment.
It’s learning to let your anger speak the truth
without turning your life into another sequel to John Wick.
