I think what’s crazy is that LOCAL seems to think that this audience reaction is a response to his ideas (which he’s defending in this post), and for a few viewers that may be the case, but I think the vast majority of viewers are just reacting to his behavior Like, LOCAL, it has little to do with WHAT you’re saying bro, it’s just the sudden odd shift in behavior that’s thrown everyone for a loop here and has caused concern.

Nobody is framing their anger as concern because nobody is angry. People are genuinely baffled, suspicious of your sudden 180, and yes... concerned. It's not your "perspective" that people are focusing on, it's your odd behavior. You can say "I actually am okay" but actions speak louder than words, and people are definitely taking note of your actions right now.

I'm not angry, I'm just disappointed. Your advice is what helped me start out as a writer, you helped to get all the jumbled messes of ideas into a coherent form. Your enneagram videos were especially good since I struggled with putting together good characters. That's the only reason I'm still here, if I stumbled upon your channel as it is now I would have bounced right off. The reason people are concerned is because everything about you and your content has changed. Your format has changed from edited videos to vlogs, your videos are of lower quality, the topics you're covering(even ignoring the ai debacle) are at best only tangentially related to writing and you're constantly presenting yourself in an unprofessional manner. Not to mention the newfound hostility with your audience.

Filmmaking is a collaborative medium. lts not because Hollywood doesnt recognise your talent. Its that by your own admission you're an asshole. It's not the "radical new perspective" we're worried about dawg. I heavily disagree with it, but if that was all I would've just unsubscribed and felt betrayed, which I did. The concern comes from the sudden shift in behavior and attitude. I mean, I could always tell you were a little pretentious but this is just insane levels of "I am superior to everyone else". And not to mention the views themselves denote a level of unwellness just at their sheer absurdity.

Getting cancelled has never been this fun bro. It’s easier to label a radical new perspective as distortion or sacrilege or outright neurosis than it is to make space for it. Everybody loves righteous anger until it’s their myth in the crosshairs. I actually am okay, believe it or not. You don’t have to frame your anger as concern. Praying for love and evolution ❤️
