Max Chernov

I’m honestly confused.
We uploaded a video yesterday packed with jokes, self-irony, and sarcasm (this one: https://youtu.be/b0SEGTwm-lM) — and somehow a bunch of people got offended, calling me a fake guru and whatever else.

Yes, we promoted our product (which, by the way, is free and actually good), and yes, we sell paid courses too. So what’s the problem?

Selling courses isn’t even our main business. It’s a nice and profitable part of what we do, but we make much more money through brand deals with internationally well-known companies like Revolut, NordVPN, and BetterHelp.

McKinsey charges hundreds of thousands of dollars for consulting. Universities leave you broke and in debt after five years. You pay lawyers, designers, and therapists for their knowledge and time without thinking twice.

But if someone who’s been doing YouTube since 2014, who built two successful channels in different niches and languages, who’s helped hundreds of clients and students — if I dare teach people how to do it… I’m a fake guru?

Seriously, what’s wrong with you guys??

P.S.
This video was actually one of the hardest ones to pull off — from scripting to shooting to editing just three minutes of content. https://youtu.be/b0SEGTwm-lM
Maybe I’m just out of touch with how this world works…
