People are strange and naive they think someone should use 100’s of hours interviewing people and working hard for their amusement and not make anything from it. I can only assume this person is unintelligent or too young to understand how the world is going around. In any case I really like your videos and I think you not only deserve everything you made but I have also watched you grow, become a better interviewer, better at listening and asking profound cultural questions but also grow as a person and that has inspired myself to do better in life. Ignore such hateful and frankly childish nonsense Max.

Hey Max, just want to tell you that you are doing a great job showing people what it's like living in Singapore! I've been living in Singapore for 15 years and I can say your contents are very genuine and tackle the important topics that people want to know. However, you'll find a group of people who dislikes ads, promo, etc. These people are entitled and do not deserve your time.

Max, I’m from Africa. You’ve been a huge inspiration for me to start my own interview videos. Even though some people now doubt you because you’re selling courses, I still believe in your journey. Thank you for motivating people like me to chase their dreams!

It's impossible to deal with reason with such people. So now I love posting their dumbest comments ever on my YouTube community tab, too. Whatever you do, there are a few individuals that will be offended by anything. It's the world we live in.

Never try to cater to the lowest denominator, Max. I love your informative content and I’m glad you’re monetizing it successfully. Beats all the “influencers” out there hawking useless garbage.

Dude, dont fret about the little people. Envy binds them with hate. You smile, you forgive, you move on.

Bashers, critics... they're just nothing but insecure people. Just ignore them.🤷

Max, I can’t believed you are shocked. The left wing Woke world is real. They get offended about everything. You are a quality person and creator. Please keep the great work. (Ps in that video before I quickly picked up the humour I was so proud of you that you had bought a Yacht)

There are all kinds of people on the internet. Perfectly normal people can be nasty in comments as it is a spur of the moment thing. As long as it is not the overwhelming opinion there is nothing to be worried about

Man, just ignore the haters and focus on providing your full attention to audiences who benefit/learn from your content. Keep up the good work 👍

Furthermore, FWIW. There are some that are impossible to reason to. Just like some cannot comprehend science like an engineer. But your video also reaches them.

Let's put it this way. There are people who also believes Trump is a genius. And there are also some people who believes Biden did a great job. 😂😂😂 So what to do? Just ignore them. Because it is a democracy (gone wron

Don’t waste your energy on these people. Be sure of yourself and what you are doing; you have a great following, commit to them, engage more with them and put out what you think is right. If you react to every silly comment you will go crazy.

Please don't take these types of criticism seriously, it's just human jealousy in play. But if it comes in a constructive nature, then we can all listen, learn n improve on our mistakes (if any). Peace!!

Max Chernov
I’m honestly confused.
We uploaded a video yesterday packed with jokes, self-irony, and sarcasm (this one: https://youtu.be/b0SEGTwm-lM) — and somehow a bunch of people got offended, calling me a fake guru and whatever else.
Yes, we promoted our product (which, by the way, is free and actually good), and yes, we sell paid courses too. So what’s the problem?
Selling courses isn’t even our main business. It’s a nice and profitable part of what we do, but we make much more money through brand deals with internationally well-known companies like Revolut, NordVPN, and BetterHelp.
McKinsey charges hundreds of thousands of dollars for consulting. Universities leave you broke and in debt after five years. You pay lawyers, designers, and therapists for their knowledge and time without thinking twice.
But if someone who’s been doing YouTube since 2014, who built two successful channels in different niches and languages, who’s helped hundreds of clients and students — if I dare teach people how to do it… I’m a fake guru?
Seriously, what’s wrong with you guys??
P.S.
This video was actually one of the hardest ones to pull off — from scripting to shooting to editing just three minutes of content. https://youtu.be/b0SEGTwm-lM
Maybe I’m just out of touch with how this world works…
