None of the above. All my watches were thought out. Have their place.

I’ve bought too many in a short period of time, omega, gs, Tudor, Certina etc. In the end I realized the only watch I needed was the Rolex explorer.

Classic too many watches when I wear a core group of maybe 5 or 6. I create use cases in my head and reasons I'll wear them, but then I wind up wearing the same ones anyways.

I watch many, many watch YouTubers and learn from your mistakes. I research my watches and buy with the intent of never selling. Thx for the content

Got 23 watches at the age of 23. Exited the hobby and now I just glance. I have more watches than friends.

Bought a few less expensive pieces at different times to scratch the itch of adding another watch. I don’t wear any of them and over a couple years you realize you’ve spent a chunk of money that could’ve been a nice contribution to something with more staying power in the rotation. Now they’re all collecting dust and get worn maybe once a year.

D - All the above + “the one that got away” For me that one is the discontinued explorer 39. The sweet pain of collecting lol

Ditto Rob and Jeremy, I’ve done all of those options. Just in the process of doing my first re-buy of a watch I sold and really shouldn’t have.

Bought waaaay too many watches, but it's all cool, it needed to happen, it's a voyage of discovery, collection is cut back now, and much happier

Bought too many cheap watches, thought they would fill the gap for a nice watch but they didn't

Bought something on sale that wasn’t on my wish list, ended up selling later because it wasn’t what I really wanted.

I didn’t buy a watch when I should’ve bought a watch and now it’s out of reach

Being to poor to afford a good watch for $4K then, and now being to cheap to justify buying the same watch for $6k because inflation. 😂
