Holy peak, episode 6 is one of the best episodes from indie animation I've ever watched. Actually impressive.
This was undoubtedly the best episode so far imo. Had 10/10 character dynamics, stellar animation that keeps improving with each episode, solid humor, good pacing, and pulled off it's emotional bits pretty damn well. Even trying to think about it, I hardly have anything critical to say about this episode.
(spoiler territory) Can't help but feel incredibly sorry for Jax here. He's too scared to care about anyone or have anyone care about him because he doesn't want to experience losing a friend again. He wants to dissociate himself and disconnect with the situation, otherwise he believes he might lose his sanity and abstract. The way I see it, he's very selfless but in the most selfish way possible. Maybe they're setting him up to be the main villain?
