Higurama’s amount of natural talent is actually frightening Dude saw Domain Amplification once and was like “yeah ok I can do that” he was able to do on a similar level to Sukuna Then Bro just learned RCT on the spot and his RCT was potent enough to heal his whole arms which we know is an advance feat. Not to mention what he did before we even met him and how he brought himself up to Grade one level I also forgot to mention that he was the only person ( besides Yuta but Yuta is the goat so he doesn’t count) who noticed when Gojo did his domain half a sec faster than Sukuna or whatever it was Not even Hakari noticed that

@Truck-kun11

Not only did Higuruma learn all the basics of jujutsu by himself through Reverse Engineering his Domain, he did all this with ZERO prior knowledge of Cursed Energy and Curses.

I think that just entirely comes from the fact that the story glazes higaruma way more than it even acknowledges yuji. That's intentional and I think actually good for the story specifically because it makes you wanna root for your boy yuji itadori.

@Dazkoz

Higuruma wasn’t just powerful, he had the will and drive to push himself past his limits when it counted. He wasn’t Higuruma because he was as strong, he was strong because he was Higuruma.

Like Hikari, higaruma had a cheat code due to his domain already being cooked into his curse technique, which allowed him to skip a few step, but yes, higaruma is natural talent+ being a prodigy+ a laser focus drive to learn. All in all, kusakabe said it best he was an exemption not the rule

@fizbutreal

yuji had a crazy glow up to be fair but im not denying higurama was literally THE MAN, dude got a CT and started going straight to work crazy talent, he probably could've become the new gojo if he wanted to

Btw, I have a question, how tf sorcerers who use RTC to regen limbs are not tweaking from the sheer pain of reconnecting one? Like bro if I sit in the wrong position while taking a dump I tweak for 40 seconds as blood flows again

@migjordanpayawal7856

Sukuna challenged him to use RCT and he actually pulled it off. Gojo had to die before understanding how it worked. When Higuruma learns something, he learns it intimately. Absolute genius.

The way I have seen it, he's the next Gojo satoru of the modern era. Cause he appeared AFTER Gojo is sealed and even when Gojo is released we all know what happened. There is 'Fate' in Jjk verse. So, I head canoned he's the destined next 'strongest' after Gojo. Cause the author compared his talent to Gojo. He always had the technique, he just didn't have the 'brain' for CE processing until Kenjaku's plot, which starts with sealing of Gojo.

He has the potential almost at the level of gojo and sukuna

The fact he learned rct randomly was such a unintentional flex, bud has insane potential. Had a domain in a couple months too and was tweaking his CT as he went on, has the obliterator sword thing and shi

I think higuruma is an excellent character to study when you want to write stories about people with powers in general. Introducing a random character who is an absurd prodigy out of nowhere is very easy to mess up, and in fact, most times authors completely botch it by either making a very obvious self insert Mary sue, or by completely derailing the story by introducing a more interesting character than your main cast. Higuruma is neither, he's a fantastic character, so he's not a weird self insert and doesn't even resemble one, but he's also built from the ground up to help yuji in his arc, offering not only a contrasting point to him, but also friendly opposition in his introduction. Higuruma has a fantastic arc himself, but Yuji only benefits from his existence in the story.

Imagine if he became a sorcerer at the same time Gojo did, wonder how strong he would be with decades worth of experience

Be like higuruma Unleashes his potential as fast as he can (unlike a certain man called "the potential man")

And Sakuna felt sorrow for the first time even for a fraction of a second. He saw what Gojo saw. Someone who can become an insane sorcerer if he isn’t plucked to soon. And sadly he was.

@sixpathshashira

The guy had the same amount of potential as Gojo after all and could apparently use his cursed energy as good as Sukuna could (which is insane because that also means he's on par with Gojo when it comes to that as well). No wonder Gege had to write him off after that statement😅
