Personally I think that now is the most critical time to not purchase absolutely anything from EA until they actually fix the Sims 4. Don’t be fooled please, let’s stay united and hold this huge company accountable for their broken product.

Well, I guess every "Fix your game" comments on every Sims 4 social media post worked..

I truly hope they do. I haven't purchased any add ons since 2022 and I haven't touched Sims 4 in over a year. I was just fed up with all the issues. So once they start actually fixing things, then I'll be back.

I wish that would be true. Sorry but y’all lost me. It’s over and never coming back. I’m struggling with money wishing I never put over $2,000 into the sims 4 on pc and console. It’s something I’ll live with and it’s on me. I learned the hard way. The least I can do is to never buy another pack. Just an insight to a theory : (In 2004 or 2005 video games came completed after purchasing. I don’t recall them patching anything. We just got the disc and the joy of a completed game. An expansion to the base game was the same way.) Okay so now in 2024-2025, Y’all hire a team to fix the game???? See y’all are just like a toxic relationship. Using my money, wasting my time on loading screens, getting my hopes up, and lying about it all. The audacity Sims 4. Y’all could never be sims 2 or sims 3. Too many disappointments y’all. Ps : Y’all wouldn’t need a team solely to fix the bugs if y’all checked and made sure the game ran well before releases…. just saying.

Remember they have an expansion pack coming out. Releasing an expansion pack before addressing the community issues means that people are angry and won't buy the pack. That's one of the most important reasons why they had to release a statement. They probably will continue releasing fixes until about a couple months when the community becomes calm and forgets

I hope their "fixes" do not introduce new bugs as many of their patches unfortunately did.

I feel like this them trying to keep us happy for a short while. The laundry list doesn't look that long.. especially with the pages of bugs on answers HQ. It should at least be double or triple the amount of bug fixes on there, especially if it's going to be every two months. They'll never get all these damn bugs fixed.

They'll have to earn my trust cuz as it stands I don't have any faith in this at all.

Well, holy nuggets... I am cautiously optimistic, i spied dine out in the patch laundry list, finally... This is quite the undertaking though so I hope they stick with it, there's a long way to go.

Didn't they do something similar before with like a new social media for reporting bugs so they can fix them better that isn't a thing now? Ehh I'm not convinced yet

You really think they will? I haven't played in weeks because it's just not functioning correctly. It's so bad.

I literally hadn’t updated my game since pre for rent as I heard how bad things were, but with this news I finally can play sims with internet enabled lmao.

Someone pinch me. I must be dreaming. 💭
Will Sims 4 actually become more stable in the long run? I have doubts… 🤔
