QUANTUM TV

Is this odd to you? The Sony Bravia 8ii seems to be the only tv getting protected from negative reviews on Amazon, locked behind the "verified purchase" requirement. All other tvs (including sony) are able to be reviewed normally. I tested other tvs i haven't bought like the bravia 5 and lg g5. Even tested the bravia 9 which I did purchase. Only the bravia 8ii is getting shielded. What your thoughts?

@elatletico6665

you’re the only 1 fighting for transparency! keep pushing man! I know it’s not easy exposing those big companies, but I let you know even we’re just 3 consumers supporting you, the fight is worth it.

@Repupton

If they’d made a good tv, they wouldn’t need to be this desperate. How sad.

They know the TV is not up to par and are not confident in their product.

Funny - Andrew Robinson put up a review today basically verifying everything you said about this TV out of the box being way off on calibration. Even mentioned the blue tones you noted. But he did some clean up work to not totally trash the review. I told him in the comments what happened to you and to not be surprised if demonized.

❤❤❤ I have NO issue with any Samsung / LG / Hisense / TCL regardless how they perform or Advertise. They all have Special Engineering Expertise in ( WOLED/ QD-OLED/ Mini LED / 🟥🟩🟦 mini led ) ❤. SONY = ZERO 0️⃣ specialty In Tech but MOST false advertising ( —- they use diff play book for Marketjng . They do like : LV GUCCI type of Advertisi

Nothing should be able to be reviewed that isn't a verified purchase

Oh wow. Now that’s awfully telling!! Also tried the review for the 55” and it doesn’t have that warning/block.

makes sense why they dont want you reviewing something you havent bought from this specific seller. Its a review on the seller store.

Seems odd to me. Probably they want to stop pleople from negatively reviewing it for to the high asking price alone or whatever. Like you see on other products review where they would give like 1 or 2 stars, not because its a bad product but because its a lot more expensive than similar products. I mean I think its fair to downvote a product for this reason, but then again not sure if this warrents a highly negative review. Its not like the tv is bad like 1 or 2 stars, just overpriced. Difficult case.
