So glad I found your videos many years ago, and happy belated birthday professor! I'm an amateur chemist who uses wet and electrical methods to recover and refine Au/Ag/Pd/Pt. After rewatching your nickle video, it brought a question to mind..could you guys do some content on Ni+ DMG(dimethylgloxime) complex? I use DMG (very rarely due to inability to obtain fresh reagents) to selectively precipitate Pd but have never observed Ni-DMG complexes

I have an idea for some videos you could do…? Explain the chemistry of life hacks. Instead of just confirming or debunking them by repeating them…show the science behind why vinegar and bicarbonate of soda helps lift burnt on food. And chemically why citric acid helps remove grease?

It seems like neon in the atmosphere is responsible for the red sunsets and rises. The sun has to reach a certain angle to make its electrical connection to stimulate the neon.
