Most common mistake: Buying a grossly overpriced vehicle which is costly to insure, fuel and maintain. Biggest mistake: Becoming a parent too early.

Combining them all will give you the BEST outcome :-) Learning a new skill will improve and enhance your life, but might not actually save you money. Still worth it! Good investment in yourself...and maybe fun.

Employees have security. A guarantied wage, even if the business fails. Investing involves risk. You’d call heads or tails on a 100-dollar coin flip all day, if you got paid $110 for winning, even if you lost half the time. Study investments. Certificates of Deposit, Annuities, royalties, notes, bills, bonds, corporate bonds, real estate, business (that you could run yourself). You don’t understand an investment until you have bought it, held it, sold it and paid taxes on it. Make your mistakes with small amounts. The advantage of being broke. As you win, your investments will get bigger along with your expertise. Making 10 small bets may make more sense than 1 big one. Gamblers don’t go all in on every hand.
