If you want a really scary game try Scratches (2006), I played every resident Evil game and many horror game but no game ever genuinely scared me like Scratches, genuinely creepy, great atmosphere and cool story no spoilers but try it out.

I think you should check out and do a playthrough on a horror and scary game called Poppy Playtime Chapter 1, 2 and 3: Smiling Critters, madam Jellybean Gaming. It's an awesome game and way scarier.
