Absolutely loved your review, but I gotta respectfully disagree with your opinion on the mech building (the game being easy to beat with only three mechs). The game shouldn't punish you or force you to engage with it's mechanics any more than it already does. Balteus filtered enough people already lol. Rather, I think the fun is in making creative builds and actively engaging with the game's mechanics. It's kinda like lego, build the fun yourself, not have it be pre-built and shipped to you. There's a lot of fun to be had with a police mech who runs around brutalitying the RLF with a stun baton and tasers, or a lightweight mech that dies in a few hits but is fast enough to outpace and outmaneuver most enemies (including players and the fastest pilots in the game). Or just playing as a man in a wheelchair (you cannot deny it is both funny and fun playing with the wheelchair). Or a meth addict mech.
